The Brown University Department of Philosophy will host the SIPP@Brown Conference on July 20, 2018. The conference will be held in the first floor seminar room in the philosophy department in Corliss-Brackett House (45 Prospect Street, Providence, RI).

Speakers for the 2018 SIPP@Brown Conference will be:

  • James Haile (URI) “Towards an Afrofuturist Aesthetic.” Sponsored by the American Society for Aesthetics.
  • Adam Hosein (Northeastern) "Individualist and Structural Approaches to Discrimination".
  • Alisa Bokulich (Boston University) "Representing and Explaining: The Eikonic Conception of Scientific Explanation." Sponsored by the Philosophy of Science Association.
